Nic Lamb and Nathan Fletcher top the podium at Punta Galea, Spain

Nic Lamb let the world know that he's a force to be reckoned with when he pulled out all the stops and landed on the top step of the podium taking the win in Spain.
It wasn't all sunshine and pretty rainbows on December 11, 2014 as the boys hustled with shifty conditions and a swirling Basque ocean. In fact the trouble started before they even got there as board bag blues kicked in for Nathan Fletcher and his travel crew. With the airline not allowing them to check their boards, they all boarded in hopes of borrowing some equipment once they arrived in Spain. Having team riders and close friends in the south of France pays off and Nathan was able to borrow a Buzz gun for the contest. Swing sets and board bails equate to broken leashes and borrowed boards banging onto the rocky shoreline.

Nic Lamb on the other hand was spared the board drama and flew in, unpacked his bag and paddled his 10'0" into some hefty ledges. Massive right walls, sketchy late take offs and fighting through chunder were par for the course.
Nic's 9.77 ride and 10.0 point score were something to admire.
